Bonnie’s mission is to support women with or without children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic and family violence and are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We work to enhance women’s skills, knowledge and capacities through the provision of information, referral, support, counselling and advocacy to enable women to make informed choices and enhance their opportunity to participate in social, economic and cultural life and activities in the community.

We also support women to develop supportive and trusting relationships, self management skills and accountability thus enhancing confidence and independent living skills.

What can we provide?
Flexible supported short-term crisis accommodation
Provision of community development and information/education activities focusing on the prevention and early management of domestic and family violence and related issues impacting on women and their children.
Case Planning and Management.
Counselling
Information, Referral and Advocacy
Brokerage
Access to Medium Term Accommodation through Violeta’s Place and Exit houses
Crisis outreach: Phone-in service for women and their children in the community.

Who we provide for?
Women with or without their children experiencing or escaping domestic violence and sexual assault with dependent young males up to 18 years (must be attending school or formal training).
Women who have complex needs in language and/or cultural barriers, mental health issues including torture and/or trauma experiences, drug and alcohol issues , disability and/or minimal level of living skills and/or parenting skills.
